Sunday 10/5/08
No Sunday posts yet? Not sure what we are doing today. Rich is out there wiring up those KC lights right now and I'm working some.
This plague I have comes and goes but never quite goes away yet. It could be allergies somewhat too since today is a huge pollen day here. I just know that I'm sick of it and being sick.
The weather here is nice though; breezy and 84 outside. Partly cloudy.

Re: Sunday 10/5/08
I wonder what the heck is in the air. I have the same crud, Karsun....just dropped Claritin yesterday since it wasn't working, I'm starting on Zyrtec today. The only thing that truly works is Benadryl, but that's because I'm asleep for half the time it's kicked in. I really miss feeling healthy!!!
Ok, week #2 of getting shafted. Next week looks no better. I really need a break from the kids, but hubby is either out of town, working, or getting the HOA haunted house ready lately on the weekends. Those are the only 2 days where we can share the kids and I can actually get some work done since he's around to watch them. It's really not his fault, but next week will be 3 weekends straight where I haven't had a break. My garden is getting overrun with weeds, I have a room waiting to be painted, etc - just a ton of stuff that I can't do with the kids around. I'm feeling bitter, tired and pissy about it. Just gotta suck it up until the 25th, then it's HIS turn to be home all the time.
The haunted house is coming along nicely, all the framing is done and some lighting has been taken care of. Manage to snag a whole host of badly needed furniture from my dad, so that helped. I still need to finish making a costume for the baby and do the actual house decorating tho. I don't think I'm going to dress up this year, it's going to be hectic enough without throwing a costume into the mix. The Hummer will likely sit out as well....I usually have a corpse draped across the front of it, but the corpse will now be popping out of a bathtub in the house.
Got my new computer set up (finally), Dell XPS system. I'm mucho happy. My old system was 5 yrs old and ran like it. We're kind of stupid like that, just keep on holding on to stuff until it breaks and needs to be replaced. Occassionally we realize that hey, there are a LOT better things on the market that are a cheap fix. I think the microwave may be next to go (15 yrs old!).
Haven't turned the game on yet. Last week was such an embarrassment.
Stacy

Re: Sunday 10/5/08
Its Monday morning - just waking up with a slight hangover - spent the evening eating fugu (blowfish) here in Hiroshima, still alive so I assume that he prepared it correctly.
Heading back to Korea this morning - taking the bullet train to Fukuoka then the fast ferry to Pusan followed by the ferry to Geoje island.
I will post pics of Hiroshima when I get back to Korea.

Re: SUNDAY 10-5-08
Well, no more Allegra for me unless I'm headed for bed. I took one of Rich's long lost Allegras and geez, I was conked out in less than an hour. I sure wish this plague would go away. Sorry you're sick too, Stacy. Rich finally has the lights in so we'll probably go out to dinner in a few and pick up some things we need and get coffee. Then I want to watch a few of our shows. We rewatched Iron Man last night. There were parts I'd forgotten or they added stuff or I fell asleep briefly in the theatre.

Re: SUNDAY 10-5-08
Still talking about seeing Sarah Palin yesterday when she was in town (outside of L.A. at the Home Depot Center .. where David Beckham plays soccer with the L.A. Galaxy). Over 8,000 people and it was fantastic! Had VIP seats .. she's a great speaker, energetic, no-nonsense. Still energized from the rally and the crowd.
