Default Bose subwoofer and amp

Hi guys,
I've decided to add an underseat subwoofer to my H2 but sadly my headunit doesnt have a subwoofer pre-out so will have to do it the hard way.
I read somewhere that the wiring for the sub is easy to get to via the side pannels of the centre console.
I took mine off and could only find these cables:

Can anyone tell me if one of these is for the subwoofer/amp and if not what they are for?
I can feel the sub from the drivers side but cant feel any wires going into it.

I took the rear pannel off the centre console and found what I can only assume is the amp:

It sure looks like an amp, which brings me to my next question, which of these wires do i need to tap into to add another sub and amp?

I also found this behind the centre console, some sort of aerial amplifier i think, any clues?

And found this behind the dash taped up, some sort of connector but not sure what it's used for, again any ideas?

Am i right in thinking that i can just plug THIS into the existing amp shown in my photo and then use it to add another amp using the RCA output?

no.. you will need to think this out before you do anything.

first off, you wont do anything with the amp, other than keep it or pull it out.

you can keep it to run your component speakers(which is fine)

pull it and install a real amp to power all speakers/sub

first off, do you still run with the OEM headunit?

If so, you will need an adapter, or a splice from the headunit to the speakers.. this will go to your amp. so if your new amp only accepts RCA, like i said, you need to think this out before you do anything.

i run a pioneer headunit, but retained the stock speakers and amp.
from the headunit, i have another amp hooked up from the pre-out from the HU.

if you are wanting to keep everything stock, but just simply add a amp and sub, you are going to most likely need an AMP that accepts signal from speakers instead of RCA.... but as you guess, you are going to lose a speaker.. most likely a rear one(s)

i would recomend 1 of 2 things...

take to a pro to do this
or
replace the stock HU with a aftermarket one

thanks for your reply.
I run a Kenwood head unit but there's no sub-out RCA, just the existing wiring loom and adaptors.
Surely that connector i posted is a way of adding an RCA plug to my standard stereo wiring is it not?
If i'm tapping off one of the existing speakers to add an extra sub and amp, could i not then re-power that speaker using the same amp i'm adding so that it's not lost?
