If you're doing a 6" lift go with 39" or 40" tires, otherwise it'll look like a roller skate.

Re: 38" Dick Cepek Mud Country Question
I had their tires on my CJ5 years ago. All I remember is they were really loud on the highway, and I had to rotate every few thousand miles. Offroad they were great in the mud, but even airing them down to 6psi, they sucked in the sand.

Do you think 40" tires will rub??? I am about to buy some 40x16x17 interco LTB's but think there may be really bad rubbing issues even when aired down. By the way, this wheel and tire setup will have bead locks and be used offroad only.
