Default upgrade IFS and Rear with?

I have read a few broken IFS and rear ends do to them being weak. A tire spin and then grab seems to do this. Maybe a solid front D60/70 and 14 Bolt rear to make them bullet proof in the H3. Will there be a big reduction in ability?
I am also wanting to install a Diesel engine like the Cadillac CTS V6. I would really like you fine H3'ers opinions.

Thanks, JASTECH

First hand experiance of this :-(((

See attached clip.

Would love a solution, been looking at getting stronger Tie Rods but I think that will just move the problem to the CV's.

Also looking at fitting a front Diff lock, but worried I will smash the Diff.

you could try not pushing the pedal to the floor when one of your front tires is off the ground???

Flooring it will whip things around a bit. While a big wheel is airborn.

the h3 is a crawler. you should rarely be breaking traction. i have front and rear lockers in my alpha. i crawl up most everything i point it at where others need to bash their way up. slow and steady with minimal sawing of the steering wheel is the way to go. never had any problems personally. i do carry a spare tie rod with me in my off road spare parts/tool bag to be safe.
