Default More noises...

I have 2 different noises in my H2...

1. Drivers rear window makes noises on roll down / roll up. Is there an easy fix for this or will I need to take it to the dealer to look at?
2. At highway speeds I hear a buzzing like there is a bee in the car. Seems to be coming from the windshield area. I think I read a post somewhere that to fix this I would have take off the plastic cowl cover and add sealant or should this be brought to the dealer as well?

Not sure what the problem is with window, but in regard to the windshield, it's a very easy fix for the Dealer. I had it done myself.

For the rear window noise-loosen the 2 10mm bolts that hold the window to the track, roll the window down, pushing on the window so it doesnt fall out of the track mounts, then roll the window back up tighten the bolts. That should take care of it, its just an easy way to adjust it. As for the A-pillar buzzing noise, remove both front A-pillar reveal moldings(the plastic moldings on the side of the windshield) clean them and reinstall with A bead of rtv where they contact the windshield.

OK... Took the H2 to the dealership... It's on the way to and from work... Anyway they fixed the A-Pillar buzz but made the window worse... And on top of that they put 25miles and used up some gas. Didn't know that it required a 25 mile drive to test for noises!!!

And now they're telling me that if they replace the window regulator it may get louder... Basically they're trying to convince me not to worry about the window noise because they couldn't fix it properly.

Sounds like you may need to take it to another dealer...oh and leave it on empty when you arrive.
