Side steps will probably be on the market at some point...I take them off when I go off...but the 8.3 month pregnant wife needs them!
Thanks Rodster! I am really happy with the look that is coming together. After seeing all the photo's of your's and timgco's, I still have some way to go to get what I want!

I like the black look too, but thinking ahead when I trade my '05 for a '07 or '08, might hurt trade in value. Would it be easy removing the paint (maybe power wash or something)? If so I might go ahead and paint them Black.

heck no the paint will not come off. If it was an issue, I would snag a set on eBay...they go for $200-250 for a set of 4.

What is that big thing to the left of your rig in those pics? The big brown thing with some pretty multi-colored things on it (looks like a lot of them have fallen to the ground???)

Oh, never mind. I did some research and discovered it's a TREE. We don't have those out here.
Seriously, I would love to trade you a day of desert wheeling for a day in that beautiful Vermont forest.....

Hi PhilD!
Yes, I had the tires off the wheels when I paited them. I used Dupicolor spray paint. It is made for wheels, and then I cleared them with the clear coat they make for wheels. I did about 12 light coats on each to be sure.
I then had the tires mounted and it didn't chip them at all!
Here is a link to the dupicolor http://www.duplicolor.com/products/wheel.html
It is gun metal, and has a flake to it.

Nice man. I might do mine after I get my new rims mounted just to see how they turn out.

VTSTOMPER-
First, very nice and inexpensive mod. Second, you stated:

In looking at the duplicolor website, are you referring to the HWP102 GRAPHITE color? The reason I ask is they also have a Silver and I just wanted to confirm.

Did you use the same product line, the HWP103 CLEAR?
Thanks, and again, nice mod...
