Default Passenger seat rattle

Hello all,
I recently traded in my 06 for an 08 Alpha. I seem to have a problem with the passenger seat back as it rattles(seat empty). I see we had some old post on this problem but missed any real way to fix it. I have been to the dealer twice but no help. They tell me they torqued some of the seat bolts but don't really know how to fix it. I can stop the noise with a short bungie cord from the head rest rail to the back seat pull up handle, works great, but looks like crap. If anyone has the fix please post. Seems like the seat back needs to be shimmed or something. By the way I got a loaner Alpha with 400 miles on it, it had no rattle but had low miles. Please help. I love the V-8 and gas milage doesn't seem all that bad.
Thank You for your time.

I had noise with the passenger seat but it was coming from the airbag sensor under the seat.

ME TOO. PASSENGER SEAT RATTLE DROVE ME CRAZY FOR THE LONGEST TIME. I MUST HAVE TIGHTENED EVERY BOLT I COULD REACH BUT IT STILL DIDNT HELP.

TURNS OUT THAT IT WAS THE PASSENGER SEAT'S SEATBELT (THE METAL CLIP) THAT WAS RATTLING BETWEEN THE SEAT AND THE SIDE OF THE CABIN WHENEVER THE SEAT IS EMPTY.

MAYBE THIS IS THE CASE FOR YOU TOO?

Thanks for the info. I will try the buckle thing but seems like the only thing that cures the noise is sideways pressure on the seat back, hence the bungie cord fix. Dealer says he has seen 3 or 4 trucks with this but can't figure how to fix it. Maybe I can sell Hummer my bungie cord fix, should be worth millions.

I had the same problem. I moved the seat back until the upright portion of the seat was even with theB pillar (between front / back window.)
