What is the best product to purchase for leather car seats and interior? Living in the Keys, my H2 is exposed to bright sunlight and salty ocean breezes. I need a good cleaner and conditioner. What do you recommend? Thank you in advance for your response .

DON'T USE Armourall. I found a product called Tanner's Preserve that was made for leather. You want a cleaner and then a conditioner or preservative. Meguier's makes some good stuff too. Remember you get what you pay for. But with your salt and heavy UV environement. It will pay in the long run to use some very good stuff. Clean first escpecially in your case so you don't mix salt in with the conditioner. You don't have to go nuts on the price Target and Walmart carry these products. This time of year you can buy (or suggest to someone as a Christmas gift) a set of products in a special care care kit. If you do that, I recommend the Meguire's kit.

the Tanner products are great and make sure your really clean the leather with a good cleaner prior to treating them with the conditioner

I do not think the hunting motif works well in the Keys. The environmentalist crazies already hate my hummer.I do not need to give them a reason to destroy it while I shopping at K-mart.

As for me I use a mixture of badger spleens, wolves nipples and wrens livers and have for years and my leather feels like it is still on the cow.But seriously I agree with tanners preserve. It takes a little work but its worth it
