Default Speaking of transmission coolers...

I made a post a few months ago about how I installed a trans cooler underneath the truck with an electric fan attached to see if it would work.

It kept the trans cool but since I didn't have the fan installed with a temp switch, every time the truck will shut down, it would build up pressure and blow it out the top of the trans.

The problem was I was using a Setrab cooler and it wasn't meant for the viscosity of trans fluid.

Soooooo, I bought a fan and cooler assy of ebay. I didn't run the lines through the radiator. It works great.

Okay, so it's too dark outside. I don't have a flash on my cell phone so you'll have to use your imagination.

Here, I got an idea... the ebay ad.



It's double row thick. No need for the lines going through the radiator.
