Harley,
Sorry I can't help you, but buddy, that's a cool find. I'll be jerkin with this thing for hours! Thanks.
P.S. It might be posible to pinpoint by sight.

Funny, Roxie and I both thought about marking waypoints AFTER we got back down LB. We had talked about marking the path from bottom to top so we could chart the elevation change vs. distance(also so we could see where she'd piddled on the way up ).

I can see my house from here!
I wonder how many times it refreshes. Mabye I can see when I park the Hummer outside.
Better yet we can make a rock sign in Moab.

Nice find, Paragon.
Lion's Back is the fin in the (horrible) rectangle.
A is the little shack where you pay your $10 to drive it or $ 2 bucks to walk it.(I didn't ask about peeing at the base of it. )
B is the base(launching pad) where you've got to nut up and climb the blackened 45 degree+ ramp.(Most bladders empty involuntarily here- which is why I took a precautionary wizz beforehand )
C is approximately where the carcass of the wrecked Toyota resides.
D is where Team Pewter Power turned around, celebrated and started back down.

Take the road to the east before you get to the parking lot Alec mention and there is another rock with what looks like rubber on top on the inside of the curve. Any one know what that is?

Looks flat as a pancake. I've got to show this to the wife. She'll definitely let me climb it now.
That's really cool following it.
