I have an 06 SlUT with a tonneau cover. Is it easily removed? I don't want to open a can of worms... It looks like loosening thrww screws on each side then sliding it off... Did they make it to be easily removed?

I haven't had the guts (or the reason) to try.
I did read somewhere on the forum that removal is fairly easy but re-installation and alignment is a bear so your "can of worms" concern is, IMO, accurate.
BTW, I note you have an 06 SlUT. That's a good thing, yes?

I have an SUV, so I don't know a lot about this, but the last time I was into my dealer, there was a woman SCREAMING about the fact that the DEALER couldn't get the thing attached and aligned properly! You might be better off either leaving it, or knowing that if you remove it, it may never go back on properly again!

Man, that's what I thought... When I started asking them at the dealership about removing it, everyone had different answers...

I just had one installed last Friday...it's a 2-2.5 hour ordeal, considering the weather striping & all. I witnessed the install & YES it was a biotch to line up properly.
Long story short...I doubt I'll remove mine unless it is an absolute necessity
