Default Where did you install your winch battery cut-off switch?

As you know, there is not much space between the battery and the fuse box. I am wondering where you guys installed the cut-off switch and what kind did you use?

From what I can see it looks like one of these two might work. Also, are there any caveats when diconnecting the battery cables regarding the onboard electronics? Thanks.

Just curious! Why do you need a cut off switch on the winch. None of my trucks have a cut off switch for the winch.

Good question. My winch is on a receiver mount so I can use it in the front or the rear. I have seen other members say a cut-off switch is important to have so the huge power cable that runs to the rear hitch receiver is not live all the time as a safety measure. It seems like good advice.
