What's the price for a H2 over there? Just curious. Seems like you'd have to own a small city to have one.

Re: My H2 SUT in a work shop in Saudi Arabia
Thank you all for your kind hospitality
I am very glad to be in your forum with all the Hummer lovers ,
Well in fact we have a lot of hummers over here in Saudi Arabia all of the kinds H1 , H2 , H3
Mostly all the H1's are from the US & Saudi Army's left over from the gulf war and they are still going and working in mostly desert off road use.
And the H2 are sines 2003 are all over the street.
And the new H3 are like "Rice" az we say in the gulf alot of H3 !
I mean in every traffic light you can find one !!!
The price range of a NEW top of a line H2 is around $60,000 to $66.000 at the hummer dealer
But there resale value are around $25,000 to $35,000
The Saudi hummer dealer service is very very BaD too slow and expensive!
So i fix it my self and Egbal the mechanic.
I use my hummer every day to work and around high ways and for shore in the desert,
Every day I love this car more and more and respect the work that the Americans did in it !

Re: My H2 SUT in a work shop in Saudi Arabia
Well it used to be less but right know its for SR 0,60 per liter and its 95 Octane .
It's around 16 cents per liter in US. Dollars , so it's 60 cents per gallon
Lucky us but it wont last forever !
It will rise and may be finish on day !

Re: My H2 SUT in a work shop in Saudi Arabia
I dont know about the shipping cost ?
But if i can ship a 10000 gallons or more i can make some real money !
The price of the gallon is low because the people cant afford it if it was higher and we will go back riding camels
A couple year ago it was $1 per gallon and it was a miss all the cars where 4 Cylinders and all the suv's where very cheap !

Re: My H2 SUT in a work shop in saudi arabia
Hey Saudi H2,
Welcome and glad to have you on forum. I appreciate your kind comments towards America.
Sometimes we feel we are doing what is best to help the world be safe including our friends in Saudi etc.
It makes me feel bad though when some other countries call us the world's police or the big bullies. We really want peace for all and more importantly justice for all but, will not hesitate to kick the behinds of people who would oppress others or threaten Our Nation.
I hope most countries appreciate the help that we sincerely want to be to the world as we really do appreciate the honest support from the world community who understands the sacrifice Our Nation and more importantly the sacrifice Our young military men and women as well as their families make.
If America really pulled back and became an isolationist nation to stay out of the world's business as we hear it put on our national news groups and allot of the foriegn press puts it as well. I wonder if the world really understands what that would mean? Have the nations that say they would like us to stay out of the way have really sat down to actually make a list of the everyday liberties that would be lost in no time at all if America just minded it's own business?
We had to come out of isolation in 2 World Wars not counting smaller wars before and after the 2 great wars, to end all wars, to help the allied world pull out a win. We as a young nation had to go into the Mediteranean and clear it of pirates out so the sea lanes were open to all nations. We have been pulling the fat out of the fire for allot of the world for more of history than I can remember.
Since the second World War WE have not pulled back so We could hold back the tide of the bad who would have really been BIG BULLIES or Big Brother. If We had to come out of isolation for a 3rd time it would be to late and it would be all we could do to just keep America free. We maintain such a technological edge as well as the courage of each and every military service person that if Our own Gov would choose to go to fight and really win I feel we could not loose a war. The key is though the determination of Our leaders and the media people of Our Nation being supportive. We could pull back to our borders and save enough money we send to other countries and the cost of living would go down in our country and balance Our Gov budget in a year or little more.
We are more self suffient than we let on in many areas including energy. I'm involving myself in oil and gas just inside our nations borders which is allowing me to learn more and more as time goes by and it would shock the world and our own people how much untapped resources we have. There are old oil wells that were drilled back in late 1800's and early 1900's that people thought when they were used up just forgot about them. As of late it is being discovered that those old oil or gas wells after redrilling and cleaning up the hole will now produce half or more than the wells didi in there early virgin stages a 100 years ago. This knowledge is not passed out liberally plus over the last 4 years all those old wells leasing rights have been bought out so there is no more of them to snatch up. We have, which most do not even know about it, a very poor grade of material called lignite that can be found most everywhere and it can be used and is used most recently to generate electricity.
Well excuse for going on this way most of our forum buds of which You are Welcome know of my long windiness, not all the time, but, they know and are use to my rambling. I do try and impart a very small piece of information in my rmabings so You have to be patient with me as i will get to the point i'm making.
Just as You are of Your Nation I'm very Patriotic to my Nation and it just being the 4th of July Patriotism runs real strong. It is a shame we do not remember it national more days a year as far as celebrating Patriotism and the sacrifice of Our Military to keep the USA FREE and help those who are in need of help when we are called upon.
Welcome Welcome Saudi H2 and keep us up to date as to what is going on as far as things that go on we do not hear about in the news here. I feel our own news companies twists the information and how the world really feels about America. I think most people around the world are happy that America is a giving caring nation.
Perhaps You could go to one of the general topic forum threads and start one keeping us up on things over there.
Oh, by the way what do you think it would cost to get 10,000 gallons of gas shipped to a port in the USA? Maybe larger amounts even?
Thanks Saudi H2 for joining Us,
TAZ
