steel braid brake lines, which and where to buy?
I need to buy a set of steel brake lines for my h2 on 37's.
Did a google search and several types came up and the price ranges from $70 - $200..Is there a major difference in the quality from the manufacturer?? Any suggestions which/where to purchase?
I did a search here and found a few posts on the subject, but nothing defintive.
Thanks

Re: steel braid brake lines, which and where to buy?
I personally don't like Goodridge lines. I installed a set of ss braided lines on my mini for the track and have seen numerous ends break on those lines.
Perhaps it's just the lines for the mini that are different but nonetheless...
I would take a look at a set of stoptech or a company called paragon.
I'm sure any lines will work, the lines on a mini are subjected to harsher use simply because they are track cars.

Thanks for the responses. I did visit Crown Performance's site , they want $160 for the lines. Is there a substantial difference between the ones on the net that are cheaper???
Thanks

Re: steel braid brake lines, which and where to buy?
On second look, the ones on the net were just for the front set, not the complete set. Trail duty seems to have decent pricing.
Any thoughts on what size I should order (stock, +2, +4, +6?) I have 37's on my h2 and tweaked the front end a bit (no lift).
Thanks

Actually, trail duty is in the top 1-2 places to buy H2 stuff that has fantastic quality and great pricing.

Get stock length unless you have an actual lift kit install....any longer than that and they will bub the backside of the wheels and wear holes in them (care to ask me how I know?)

Re: steel braid brake lines, which and where to buy?
Stock it is. I talked to a mechanic today and he wanted $80 to replace the brake lines. So the total cost of this upgrade is $250.00. Does it really add that much value and is it the best bang for my buck?
