2003-2004 Chevrolet Avalanche, Silverado, Suburban, Tahoe</P>
2003-2004 GMC Sierra, Yukon, Yukon Denali, Yukon Denali XL</P>
2003-2004 HUMMER H2</P>
with Steering Wheel Controls (RPO UK3) (standard on H2)</P>
If the memory seat feature appears inoperative, check the Driver Information
Center (DIC).</P>
Many of the memory seat modules that were returned through the Warranty Parts
Center for a condition of inoperative have shown No Trouble Found. The Driver
Information Center (DIC), programmed for Seat Entry and Exit, is set to the
default "Off" mode at the assembly plant.</P>
DO NOT REPLACE THE MEMORY SEAT MODULE.</P>
Perform the following procedure.</P>

<H4>Important</H4>
The following procedure will need to be completed for each Remote/Key
selection.</P></FONT>
</P>
Using the DIC menu, do the following steps:</P>
the customer's preference.
<LI type=1>Set the "Exit Seat" to "On".
<LI type=1>Adjust the following items:
<LI type=A>Driver's Seat (including the seat back, recliner, lumbar, and
side wings)
<LI type=A>Throttle and Brake Pedals (not available on H2 or Silverado and
Sierra Trucks)
<LI type=A>Outside Mirrors
<LI type=A>Radio Station Presets
<LI type=A>Last Chosen Climate Control System Settings (not available on
Silverado or Sierra Trucks)
<LI type=A>Press and hold the "1" or "2" (for driver 1 or 2) button of the
memory control for three seconds. A double chime will sound to let you know
that the position has been stored. </LI>
</LI>
<LI type=A>Press and release the 1 or 2 button or press the unlock button on
the desired remote keyless entry transmitter. The seat will move to the
stored memory position.
<LI type=A>Adjust the seat to the desired exit position.
<LI type=A>Press and hold the exit button of the memory control (located on
the door) for three seconds. A double chime will sound to let you know that
the position has been stored for the identified driver (1 or 2).
