hey folks
picked up my slate blue on saturday and have about 300 miles.
i was going to get black, then i was going to get superior blue because i liked the metallic flake, but i saw slate blue and decided that was for me. subdued color, and i love the metallic.
its a lux package, offroad pack, automatic, chrome package, towing and rollover..
ill be adding offroad lights but havent decided which. perhaps the hummer ones on the roof and piaa lights on the brushgaurd. ill be adding rancho's 4" lift and 35" tires as soon as the kit is available. also adding eclipse dvd/nav in the dash.
im very surprised how well this big heavy vehicle handles and rides. it could use a bit more power but i dont think its an issue at this point. maybe after i add 35's, but not so much stock. of course, i think everything needs more power. the seats are nice, but ive had to get used to them a bit b4 i felt real comfortable. a couple of drawbacks....i feel like im sitting in the backseat because of where the pillar is in relation to sitting position. also, whoever designed the door handle had a real stroke of idiocy when they put the power window controls where they did.
overall i love this thing and cant wait to mod this beast.
did someone say supercharger?
no, thats not me in the pic..
thanks for listening!

Congrats on the new ride. I decide back in March that the Slate Blue was the one for me. Now that I have gotten to see a few, I think I made the right choice. Make sure to post pics as you make the mods.

Congrats... on your new H3 Slate Blue ride... it looks SUPER! I also couldn't help but notice the very cute looking and nice contrasting by stander.
If that isn't you... then whom might that H3 modeling lady be?

When will DRTYFN find his way into this thread and have fun with this pic?
Congrats! It's the color I really wanted, but just couldn't wait long enough for it.
Welcome to the club!

Nice ride, and glad you enjoy it. I agree, the switches are a pain, but you will get used to them...I did.
