Default Air Suspension Problem

Just bought my 3rd H2 last week. A 2003. My first two did not have the air suspension but this one does. So I am unfamiliar with this set up. I push the button in the dash and nothing happens. I push the button in the back for the compressor and nothing happens. It looks like a light should come on the button in the back but it doesn't. Just seeing if I can get some tips on what to check to see if the system is shot or if there are smaller things I should check / replace before condoning the compressor is shot. I have herd that you should here the compressor kicking on from time to time but never herd it yet. Thanks in advance for any help given.

I just went outside and looked under the truck and noticed 2 coil springs. Does that mean someone converted the truck already or am I not looking in the right spot for the airbags.

Did you have the car in park with the doors closed or was going under 35mph?

These are the only way the truck will inflate the bags in the back. It is a slow inflate too, so you have to watch carefully.... but you should notice the extra height if you step outside of it

Coil springs equals no air ride, you would see air bags. Someone has converted it over.

Change over I did on mine about 18 post down. http://www.elcovaforums.com/forums/s...ad.php?t=24471
