Re: Back From Vacation
Your really not missing anything. Used to go there in the summers. My grand parents were from there and had some family that still lived there. Definitely some great fishing up in those back waters. There are fishing cabins strewn all through the area. If you don't know where you are going it is very easy to get lost.

Don't know what crappies are, but that just sounds weird.

Re: Back From Vacation
Heres a pic of alittle better than average crappie we where catching. It was 15 inches. On average they were 12 inches. Yum, fresh fish fry tonight. First real extended trip for my 3. Ran great, got plenty of looks, and fit right in with my camping expectations.

Re: Back From Vacation
We had a big fry last night that fed around 10 friends. Jeeze , it was like a shark attack on those crispy deep fried fillets. I know theres some hungover bros this morning with big burn blisters in their mouths. LOL They were chuckin fillets right out of the grease into their pie-holes. I was bustin up, Great time though, This fishin trip and party was as good as it gets for this ole farm boy....

Re: Back From Vacation
Welcome back. Don't think I've ever had crappie fish. What's it similar to?
And It looks like you've been adding more accessories to your H3 recently. Looking good.

Re: Back From Vacation
Very close to a bluegill taste or sunfish as some people call them. I keep looking at the name crappies and noticed if you take 4 letters out of there you can spell carp. Lol!
