Default Removing options via Tech 2

Can anyone (HUMTECH) provide guidance on using a Tech 2 to remove options from the BCM?

I physically removed the OnStar and XM tuner from my truck and would like to remove these options from the onboard computer so they stop throwing alerts when I connect my Tech 2.

As it stands now, when I connect the Tech 2 and go under Body I get two messages before entering the options menu:
OnStar/VCIM not responding
Digital radio receiver not responding

I'd like to remove these options so the messages no longer appear. Not a hill to die for...but I'm anal enough to what to remove them if possible.

Nope, those messages will always appear, annoying, yes. But that's how it is.

HT,
will the Tech 2 remove messages for a C5 Vette that has similar type issues (codes thrown due to mods)?

Guru,
I have the same plan for my rig. I have the "rare" OEM Hummer cubby that I will be pulling the OnStar out and replace it with. So I am curious, do you have lights on your dash? or issues elsewhere from your OnStar removal?
Any tips on removing the OnStar successfully or is it pretty much just unplug it and and everything is fine?

Tech 2 cant remove factory programming or change factory programming. If you have modifications done that cause trouble codes to set you need to get a custom programmer like EFI live or a similar product. Best to find someone that has one and pay him/her to do it. Removing and modifying factory calibrations can cause you more problems than good.
