Default Horn problems ?

A new horn is being realeased at the plant this week, Evidently, warranty costs have been high on H3 and Colorado / Canyon. Water was entering the horn and causing problems. New one has a splash shield to stop this from happening.

Yeah, my horn was pretty much worthless, you could hardly hear it over the engine. Then again, it was completely submerged in muddy water more than once.

I know the horn needs to be louder and deeper, i along with my friends were thinking the same thing doesnt seem like something from a HUMMER.

Mine gets water in it all the time and gets all muffled. It actually finally dried out a couple days ago from a run over a month ago.

Yeah, I know.

I wish mine where black, they sit behind my grill. You can see them if you looking for them, thankfully they are getting too dirty now to see.

Thanks for the link.

Mine didn't even work for the first 3 months. You could hardly hear it. It magically fixed itself though

My horn sounds fine too. Then again, I barely use it.

I have flooded mine a couple of times. It eventually dries out and works normally again. Somebody mentioned to me that you can drill a hole so it drains.
