Default Black box help

I'm trying to track down why my back up camera sometimes works and doesn't. In the process, I discovered this black box which the camera is connect to which then goes to the factory nav stereo. Can anyone help me identify this and the connections.

The black box in question.

It has these connections going to the factory nav stereo. I haven't seen connections like this coming out of a stereo before.

What the connectors look like. Almost like a keyboard or mouse connection.

What is the blue wire for? It isn't connected to anything?

Any help is appreciated

The backup cam was dealer installed when the original owner bought it. Unfortunately the Hummer dealership is no longer around so I can't ask them.

And of course the black box has no label or identification
I did open it up and it has a circuit board and stuff inside. I think its something that allows the backup camera to display on the factory nav/stereo screen.
