Re: Tire Pressure
I have the very same set up as you...35x12.50 20 on my hummer h2 sut for about 3 1/2 yrs now...The first 2 years or so I was letting the dealer I bought them at do the airpressure on them and they were airing up to 50psi. They seemed to run very good at that, very good wear. But I got to thinking about the air pressure the h2 calls for which is 37 psi, so about a 1 1/2 yrs ago I aired down to 37 and have been running at that ever since. It makes the ride alot more forgiving, softer so to speak. Very good traction and even the wear is even. I have about 35k on the tires now and I would say I am about 40% left, so I am very happy with the longevity of the tire also. I must say they take a massive amount of abuse, I do alot of hunting on rocky roads and have never had a leak yet, I will diffently buy again when these wear out. So I in my experience, the lesser the pressure the softer the ride, only draw back is if you ever gonna haul something heavy, just have to air up to compensate for the load.
