Yes. You will need to reprogram the computer for the bigger tires. Oh, and just because it says 65psi, don't inflate to that level. 35psi is just fine. I had 33's put on to replace my 32's and they ran them up to 65 at the shop. I had an appointment the next day at the dealer and they quickly set them back to 35 and programmed the computer for me.

No only if you move the wheels to new locations on the vehicle. The TPM's are imbeded into the inflation stems on the wheels. And are synch'ed with the receiver in each respective wheelhouse. As indicated in your owners manual under tire rotation.

I strongly agree with wpage...I also think that the tire size has no effect on the sensors.

Exactly, they measure air pressure. 37 PSI is 37 PSI regardless of tire size.

Actually, that depends. The PCM can only be programmed up to 33" tires (at least by the dealership). If he already has 33's, there isn't much point in getting a custom tune just for the tires. If he has 32" tires, he can have it programmed by the dealership up to 33".

The TPM system will only need to be relearned if you change which four tires are on the ground by rotating in the spare. The instructions are in the owners manual or do a search on here.

You are correct. I didn't do a good job of sharing my experience related to the question. I went from 32" to 33" and did have to have my computer reprogrammed due to the bigger tire. If he already has 33" he should be ok. I will stand by my belief that 65 psi is way too much, though.

I went from the stock 265s up to 285s. I also did not pay attention when the wheels were dismounted and the TPMS were put back on the truck in any old order. No reprograming of the TPMS and no problems. Maybe I just got lucky!!

Um, yeah. Just a bit high.

I run between 37 PSI (the recommended pressure) and ~42 PSI. I've gone as high as 45-50, but the tire crowns, especially with the wider tires on the stock rims.

I found the sensors for the adventure go off at 31 1/2 psi.recomended psi 35.
I thought i read with 32 inch tires the recomended psi is lower and the setting was also lower on the TPM's.?
