Default H3 Superchargers - any news?

Predator Motorsoports emailed me a month ago telling me they had the kit complete and were stress testing it for a few months.
Then they have back-orders until December

Anywhere I can get one quicker?

which one do you guys think would be better the Magnuson Supercharger or the Supercharger Kit from Predator Motorsports? by that i mean which would get the most power and durability (if anyone has any experience with products from either companies)? Thanks!

Maybe...if you do a lot of the work yourself, but you wouldn't get the 3yr/36k mile warranty they are offering too...

Lets see, used 5.3L from the yard... $1200-$1500, maybe as much as 2k.
Lots of work in the engine compartment.

I think the real trouble would be the PCM intregration into everything else the stock PCM wants to control...

Yeah, damn computers! I'm not saying its a bad idea I was mainly just saying that its a lot of $.! Maybe there is a way to "build" the stock motor that would be cheaper than the supercharger?

I have a Magnuson on my Vette, it makes over 6oo ponies and for over a year, I've never had any issues. Magnuson is what is on most all supercharged production packages, so they are tested for durability and reliability. Not saying another brand isn't any good, but I tend to stick with what's proven.

Actually, it's not that simple, as I was looking into that as well. A forced induction package will get you the most output for the least cost.

I tend to agree... Having used there products also in past years. They have been around the horn and know the score. There not a new strat up Co.

My last Supercharger was a Vortec on my 86 Vette designed by Carrolle Supercharging Co. And I can also state that you'l get the most bang for your buck with a Supercharger.

Forget about all that bolt on performance stuff... $475.00 for an intake pipe.... and a Filter Etc. All that crap you can chuck out the window. Do it it right... Supercharge It

The new h3t is going to have a turbo on it. Which would be better in offroad situations? Dealing with dirt and mud and so forth. IHI has one for the vortec 3500 that's about equivalent to the supercharger. Drawbacks and advantages to both?
