Default 03 H2 A/C quits

Hi,
When I start my H2 the a/c seems to work fine, but after 5 minutes or so it no longer blows cold air. It almost appears that the blower stops blowing. Can the blower motor be going and cuts off as it heats up? I have reviewed the other a/c threads and I haven't found another listing the same problem. What would be the easiest way to troubleshoot this ? I am sure replacing the blower is no cheap or easy task, thanks to all, John

Kind of sounds like it's freezing up. Does it drain a lot of water out for quite a while after you shut it off? The 03-04's had the orifice tubes installed backwards. It could be caused by that if it's never been flipped. Can you hear the blower motor when this happens?

Hi,
Yes blower sounds as if its blowing, just no air flowing from the vents. The other day it worked for approximately 1/2 hour, I thought it might be okay again. But it still does it. and yes it does appear to drain alot of water. How can I test your theory? I think you might be on to something, thanks, John

Sounds like a vacuum line might be off preventing the vents from opening/ closing properly. Also make sure there is nothing blocking the intake vent under the dash, like a plastic bag that may have gotten sucked into the system.
