So what are all the non-Moab folks up to? Other than wishing they were in Moab?
I deserve a brownie. I made it through 1.5 days with the in-laws and did not kill them. I have a massive headache that will likely persist for another week because my MIL will not shut up - EVER, but there was no bloodshed. I am most pleased.
So now they're gone and I'm chillin that the house is finally mine again. Allllllll mine. Well, sorta.
Bought gas for $2.65 today. Sweeeeeeeet.
Have to get the yellow beast inspected tomorrow, hoping that the inspection guy will be cool about it and not give me any problems. Otherwise I'll just have to run over his little inspection station...that's what I got the lift for. That, and running over stray cats.

I am on-call for work, and all this flooding, and high winds have caused me to have a busy day.

One kid sick. One kid rowdy. Wife spending money like a drunken sailor. Typical day!
Supposed to have rain tomorrow so hoping for mud.
Stacy, MILs are all nuts. That's their j.o.b. Glad you got through it without an autopsy.
Yeah, VT, from out here and the way the news is reporting it, it looks like you all might float to Europe soon!

Well, I'm still in Moab. But it is a good place to be stuck. I saw the full moon rise over beautiful slick mountains and had icecream last night.
They are overnighting the transfer case today so we will be fixed tomorrow hopefully. Then to Denver and then home.

It has been crazy! Every river seems to be so high right now. I hope we do not have anymore rain coming this way - but I see some in the forecast. I live on high ground - but work next to a river. So if the dam breaks, I hope it breaks at night.
