I recently installed a Sony 10 disk MP3 CD changer in my H3. It uses FM modulation so I did not have to mess with my factory radio. Wiring it should of been simple, it has 3 wires for power, black (ground), red (+12 power) and yellow (+12V accesory power). The black and the red wire I found connections for easily but I wanted to connect the yellow into the same circuit that is powered until the doors are open after the key is removed. Anyone know which wire this is?

You want the retained accessory power (RAP) circuit. Easiest to tap into is probably terminal B, yellow wire at the rear window wiper/washer switch, just behind the center trim panel under the radio.

Guess I should ask where you have it mounted. If at the rear of the vehicle. there is a wiring harness that runs down the driver's side, and there is another RAP wire going to the rear washer pump; same color...yellow.

It is in rear of vehicle on passenger side in cubby hole on rear side pannel. I had to take RF modulator wiring up to the back of the radio so I also ran the power wires clear up to the front too.

Thanks!
