Sold my h2 about 5 months ago for a f150. Here's my feelings so far
Its been about 6 months since i traded in my 2006 h2 for a 2011 f150 platninum 4x4 w/ the incredale twin turbo ecoboost V6 Man ts tough. Love the 150, but I do miss the H2, even with outdated technology and a tendency to go through transmissions. Miss the ability to really go off road. Love the new f150, but really what I love is the twin turbo V6 gas motor. Tons of power. Great mileage. Towed 8000 lbs enclosed trailer from Florida to NY and barely ever went out of overdrive.
I'm thinking in the next few years to grab an H1, and use the 150 as a daily driver and the H1 for wheeling and special times.
Really miss the 35" tires on the H2! I'm sure I'll miss them even more the first time we get 2 feet of snow in Colorado.

You should have gotten a Raptor. I got one and I love it. However, it could never replace the Hummer nor vice versa.

We all make mistakes. We feel your pain.
Just hope the H2 was adopted by decent owner.

Re: Sold my h2 about 5 months ago for a f150. Here's my feelings so far
I have a 2007 & 2008 Hummer H2 as well as a 2012 Ford F-150 Crew Cab.
I will admit, the new Ford F-150's are very nice, they have lots of room in them, the ride and handling is great. Mine is powered by the all new 5.0 Liter V8 and I have to say, this engine is strong as a ox. I can get on the Interstate put the cruise control on and it will go up and down hills and never even downshifts. It has tons of low end torque. The engine really feels stronger than my 6.2 Liter in my 2008 because it has so much torque in the low rpms. But in the end.........as nice of a truck it is.......its still no Hummer. As comfortable as it is, and nice as the truck is........its still no Hummer. When I get in my Hummers and drive them I love them as much as I did the day I picked them up at the dealership.
My Hummers are both garage kept, and babied. They never get off the road, they are in show room condition. I just have the new F-150 to keep the miles low on the Hummers. There are many nice vehicles out there on the market, but they are simply just not a Hummer. A Hummer is like nothing else out there. I cant say enough good about them.

^wow I wish mine was a garage toy but it will be my DD for quite some time still. I feel the same way though, everytime I'm in it I love it as the day I test drove it. I honestly don't see getting rid of this thing. I think they'll be few and far between in the coming years.

I feel both of you...love it as much as the day I first drove it.
Looking at a 2500HD or F-250 (diesel) in the future though...to keep the miles off the H2 and to haul it to off-road locations.

I did the same thing. Just came up with a years worth of ownership with the Raptor and don't regret it one bit.

PS: The Raptor (VelociRaptor 475) has never been in the shop except for one oil change.

I've been driving my 05 F150 crew FX4 for almost three years now. I got my 03 Hummer back in October and I hate to say that I am really not that happy with it. Most notably I guess would be the fact that the sunroof seal leaks as well as the driver door seal. I mean it looks cool and all but the fit and finish are lacking. I'm actually having buyers remorse. Sorry Hummer folks but I prefer my F150

If you get a chance, try out an 08-09, they are a totally different animal than the 03-04's. Those first few years they were pretty rough...
