I am looking at some of the tail light brush guards (RealWheel, Manik) out there on the market and I am unsure which to go with. Out of the brands offered, which seems to mount the best (secure) and provide good protection? Any advice and help would be appreciated. Thanks all, Steve

I have been looking into purchasing the Manik guards also...The Manik guards look the best and mount the securest...When I first bought my H3 in June, I started looking into tail guards and found the Manik ones for $129(BLK) and $199 (CHROME) and now the best I have found were on SUVxccessory.com for $157 (BLK) and $215 (CHROME)...Evidentally there selling pretty well...

Did they redesign the mounts on the Manik guards? There was a thread before showing how the mounts just stuck to the light. Basically if you hit something hard enough, the guard itself will crack your light.
See other thread.

Manik is now producing a new Tail Light Guard for the H3. The mount brackets, which used to mount on the outside of the lens with double sided 3M tape have been replaced with new ones. All the brackets now firmly attach to the vehicle using factory screws.
Manik will gladly replace the first generation Tail Light Guards for anyone who is not pleased with the design. Please contact Manik Customer Service at (800) 457-7645 for a replacement, or if you are interested in seeing the new design we will e-mail or fax you the installation instructions which show the new bracket design.
Please contact us to let us now how we can help you.
Thank you,
Manik
