and the front left tire rubs now.
Seriously, anybody ever figure out how to fix these things? You push on the wheel to unbend the axle and the whole thing spins around inside the axle housing. It's completely non-servicable, riveted shut. Real cheap engineering I guess I gotta go plunk down for a new one

Nope. It sure looks like a tie-rod. But got it apart and no tie-rod in sight

Phew! Got'er back together.
Drilled out the rivet bodies and fit some tiny screws in. Questioned the strength of the connection and supplemented with epoxy 
I considered a tack weld with a minitorch, but I'll see how this holds first 
If it happens again, I'll have to look into whether Fabtech or someone else has a stronger replacement axle rather than that flimsy Chinese thing

Axle's straight now and the blinker fluid's topped off. No more rubbing.
Mucho satisfying.
Unfortunately, it still needs an alignment. It drifts left when you take your hands off.
