Question "service 4wd" light turns on

Hello everyone! I have a 2005 H2 which I have never taken off-roading and take very good care of, yet the "service 4wd" light has started turning on. How can the 4wd have any problems if I take very good care of the car? Any ideas or suggestions?

Hello I was just going to ask that question. My truck is an 03 and taken off road once in a while and the light just came on the other day at 80,000 miles. Let me also try that method and see if it works.
