Default ABS and Trac Control Dash Lights

For a few weeks now, about every 5th or 6th time I start my H2, the ABS and Trac Control lights stay on in the dash readout.

The dealer says the only error the computer reads is a voltage error. They want me to keep and eye on it and if it persists (which it has but only so often), they will replace the battery. They say if that does not do it, then it will be an "expensive" module that needs replacing. I am out of warranty on this thing and have 6 months left on the lease. The 2nd option does not sound attractive at all and I have little faith in my dealership.

Anyone have any thoughts on this?? To me, it seems like an ignition issue since it happens less than a third of the time I start it.

Also...

With these error indicators on, I assume I have no need to fear stopping, just the ABS part of it correct???

I know nothing about the workings of the H2 except that 3 years later, I still love to drive it (and I would love to get some snow here in Iowa, we have had nothing all year!).

Your input is appreciated!
