I have decided that I am going to replace my stock rims. I have my choices narrowed down to 4 rims with the Helo Maxx 8 rims at the top of my list. Any of you guys put them on your H2 and if so how do you like them and how are they holding up. If you could post a picture of your H2 with them on it that would be cool. Any feed back would be asppreciated.

We had them installed and absolutely love them. I'll try and post a pic a little later. My husband is jealous because he originally wanted them for his superduty.

Ok, if you look on the following website and click the little pic of the h2, you'll see one with the helo's. I wasn't getting a good pic at night for some reason so I'll post one tomorrow.

To Hummerbabe,

Thanks for the response. Did you buy 17's and use the stock tires? Thats what I am planning. Also what color H2 do you have. I have a yellow one and I think the chrome rims will set it off nicely. I did see the picture at truck expressions.com. I think that is the only picture on the net of an H2 with those rims.

I have the Helo Maxx wheels with the stock BFG tires. They have been installed since June 2003. One wheel did peel but truckxpressions.com sent me a replacement. Check the member photos link....for PewterPower to see a picture of the wheels. Any questions, vicki2@tampabay.rr.com.

To PewterPower,
Your H2 looks great with the Maxx 8's. The Maxx 8's also give the appearance of a larger rim with less tire sidewall showing. The stock rims look smaller, with the tires looking like they have larger sidewalls. I assume you did not have any problems with the other 3 rims. Just one defective rim? Thanks for your reply.

You are correct Spike...no other problems. The Maxx 8's are wider than the stock wheels..either by 1/2" or 1", I don't remember.

I did not want to change the tire size like you so shopped around to find wheels that would fit and also that I liked.

Good luck with yours....share pics when you do !

Not sure if you noticed, but the "divets" in my gas cap cover match the divets in the wheels....pretty slick. Also the "H" on the center cap makes people think that they are Hummer wheels.....<wink> <wink>

To PewterPower,
I noticed the same thing about the "H" in the center cap and thought people would think that. I also have an MC 2 Billet chrome fuel door on order, should be here any day. Thanks for your input and the pics.

Hey Spike, my H2 is black. I haven't gotten my pics taken yet but will do it and post them later. I did use the stock tires with the Helo's. I think that you'll like them as well.

I don't have a clue. When I finally take pictures of my H2, I'll be asking the same question.
