H2 differences
Other than the upgrade to the 6.2L engine swap for the newer h2's. Are there any differences with these rigs from the older to newer ones. Ie trans suspension frame etc. Not the soccer mom interior stuff.
Thanks
Vandy

Re: H2 differences
The biggest difference that I have heard about is the 08-09 have a higher tendency for the traction control to take over more often Offroad than the 03-07. The 04 has been a favorite of mine because of the lower gear ratio and more low end torque. If I was to buy another it wouldn't be an 05 again

Re: H2 differences
03-07 was a 4-speed transmission. 08+ is a 6-speed.

"Soccer mom interior stuff" hater! Please elaborate(sp) I've had my sedona interior looked at a little side-ways by friends, never called soccer mom
FlexFuel capability,6-speed tranny and gear ratio I believe. There are numerous others, but it depnds on what you are wanting to compare.

Re: H2 differences
On this discussion, does anyone know if the 6 speed trans from the 6.2's can plug into the 6.0's?
I am pretty sure they bolt together the same, but not sure if a computer is needed to have the 6.0 run with a 6 speed. Anyone know?

Re: H2 differences
when I was looking for purchase my first H2 the interior was a HUGE part of the buy. My regular dealership had everything from 03's to 08's. For my personal taste I really don't care for the updated interior-its almost too nice. I love the first style that my 06 has, more utalitarian (sp?) and manly looking lol

Re: H2 differences
On my 05 I LOVE the rugged look of the interior over the newer style. The only drawback is the squeaks and rattles that I have had to ferret out and add felt or weatherstripping to cure.

This is because of the new 6 Speed with its wider spread of ratios. You get a lower first gear (and better crawl ratio) and a taller top gear.
