I've got a red top that is 3 years old, and also have a large amp/sub.
My question is do you'll think its the alternator or new battery??
If it is the Alternator, should I replace with stock or upgrade to a large amp?
As for the bouncing, does it happen to coincide with big bass hits from your amp/sub? If you have a big amp and sub it can put a big draw on the system when it's trying to punch out the bass. It is possible that the alternator is not putting out the power it used to, and now you are seeing this effect.
