I have hade my NEW H2 in for service for the Folling: A/C not blowing cold. Heated Seats and settings for individual driver not working. Dealer says I need new modules for the seats and they have replaced 3 so far for the '05 H2. They fixed the A/C not blowing cold. They said I had too much refrigerent pressure. So far so good with the A/C but I am waiting to pick it up for the heated seats and Memory seats not working issue. Anyone else have this trouble. I have 5,000k for mileage on the H2 now. Thanks, Coach

Actually, I have the same exact problems with my 05 H2. My H2 is going in for service next week for the same things. Also, I have terrible wind noise coming from the drivers door. This is my second H2, my first was a 03 and I had no problems after 70,000 miles. I figured I would try my luck again, I guess my luck ran out.

Coach, who did you get your truck from? Chuck or Kris? I hope JR or Chris is working on your rig. They're great. Do you plan on doing this weekend's "Rumble through the Tunnels"? I hope I can make it last minute. I am heading there tomorrow to check mine out and make sure all is well. If so I will attend the event.

Who did you take your truck to in service? I always take mine to Phil. I got to know him when he was in parts.

Check your PM's.

Coach, I was there today checking on my rig and walked through the service area. Is yours black with a chrome wrap around guard? If so they were on it.

It is Black. But no brush gaurd. I would like to get one though. The dealers price is just too much for that. I called Pungo Off Road and they can get the same one for a lot less. I do have the Chrome Locking Gas Cap Cover though...Coach

Coach, you didn't make the HH did you? What a blast with all those Harleys. There were thousands. We volunteered to stop an onramp for the VA ST Police. Complete escort for the entire trip. Everytime someone snuck through a road block they were pulled by the Troopers. BTW, Cassie looks nice in jeans.

Dealer says nothing wrong with memory seats. ?? o.k. They had to order the module for the passenger heated seats. (the one on the door). I asked how else could the memory setting just stop working and they do not know. It seems to be working fine now. We will see..............COACH

Have any of you '05 guys had trouble with interior door panels that squeak? I've taken my SUT to the dealership several times for work on all 4 doors. Each time they've used two-sided tape on the inside of each panel in an effort to get a tighter fit. Is it just me, or do the door panels on the '05's with Wheat interiors seem to fit tighter than the ones with Ebony interiors?

I also have a squeaking rear passenger door panel on my '05 Lux Ebony interior, did the double sided tape work? Is your dealer charging you for the adjustments or is it covered under warranty?

I have almost 6K miles on my 05 SUT, only two problems so far:
1. Seat memories not working.
2. Have had two problems with the ac. On one trip it was blowing hot air on the passenger side even though the temp. was set cold. On another trip the front ac was blowing warm while the rear ac was blowing cold

Dadr:

For the most part, the two-sided tape has worked. On some interior panels, the tape has been applied more than once. The dealer has covered all 4 doors under warranty.

Instead of using tape I would cut a small piece of neoprene trim and secure it with some 3M contact adhesive. I personally feel that using tape is a temporary fix to a very small problem.

HI I have Stealth Gray 2005 SUV and when I picked it up May 28,2004 the A/C would freeze You out of the truck. I recently had a small problem and while it was at dealer I told service writer the story of how cold air was and that now You can leave it set on high and You will feel warm. They said they checked it out and freon level was good and aeverthing else they checked looked OK. This is My first H2 so I'm a newbie and that I would see if any of You experienced H2 people has seen this or have any ideas as to how to approach dealer on this. I know there is somethng wroung as it is easy to compare early operation versus 5 months later operation. They say it is alright I know it is not what do I do?
Thanks so much for everyone's help. I found this site by accident and it is the best Hummer info site I have seen by far. I lucked out.
thanks

I would call and request to talk to the manager in the service dept. If that doesnt work call the general manager and talk to he or she about it. If you strike out there too call HUMMER. They will call your dealership on your behalf and make sure that its gets fixed.

As the original starter of this thread I was hoping that my problems were over. My H2 is back in the shop again for yet another repair.

Here is a list of the troubles I have seen so far:
1. A/C blowing hot air. Fix: found nothing. Maybe a little too much coolant. They said.
2. Power seats memory not working. The first time the H2 was brought in they said everything was fine. This time they have to replace the Memory module. Two visits for this repair.
3. Heated seats not working. Replace another module.
4. Front left tire rubber pealing from middle of tread. Advised the tire was defective. Replacing tire.

Now tell me. Do I have this much bad luck or is this H2 a lemon? Any advice? Anyone else see this happening?
I expect more from a 60k plus vehicle!!

This is an '05 H2 LUX.
