XM Satelite radio/ Moonsoon 6CD system?

As I read the H3 Manual about the radio, it appears to me that the monsoon 6 CD changer system, is the same radio used for the XM system, so I think or I am asking is it posiable to program the 6 CD changer system to turn on the XM radio if you did not order your H3 with the XM radio. Can I get the satelite radio turned on and subscribe to the XM system?

the sat reciever is a seperate box that is installed when you order it. if i understand your qeuestion I don' tthink this can be dealer insatlled

My question is > is this the same radio system that Hummer uses with the XM? And maybe all I have to do is order the unit mount it and wire it in to the stock monsoon system?

If the radios are the same part number (they may look alike but actually be internally different), and if the serial data wire for the XM receiver to radio signal is already in the harness, I would GUESS, it is possible.
However, I can't say for sure, I would suggest calling a dealer and ask them.
