I've had the H3 for over a month now and I'm ready to get it a little dirty!
However, I'm new to going off road and I don't know any nearby "hot" spots.
Does anyone know of any places to go here in SC?...or NC or GA?

I am guessing this thread could get very interesting fast
Not sure who is in your area but I believe Klaus, from the H2 section, is in Atlanta and may be able to help with locations. I am sure there are a lot of areas to go around there. Just be sure what you are getting yourself into.

Have you checked with your dealer. They are supposed to have 4 events a year and 2 of them are required to be off road. They may also know of group events other than their own.

You might want to try the dunes on the north end of the Isle of Palms in SC. I used to Jeep there in the 70s, but I'm guessing they might have built that area up and banished the 4 X 4s - worth a try though with the area being so nice.

The dealer did mentioned that they have outings, but he didn't say how often or when. I think b/c I was a female buying a Hummer...he didn't think I would be too interested.
Guess I should have asked, but they said they would contact me. I may give them a call anyways!

I would go ahead and contact them about it, I don't think they will call you when there is an event. I know that the local dealer here didn't call anyone I know about their event last weekend. I just happened to know because I asked when I was there.
