Default Good Off-Road Spots in So Cal?

I'm dying to use my H3 for what it was made for, but I don't know of any places around So Cal.

Check that out. You have Hungry Valley off road park, just up there by Pyramid Lake off the I-5 that has a cool 4x4 area and camp grounds. We have Pismo Beach of course, also Glamis and Ocatillo Wells farther south for desert fun. There is also an exit off of the I-15 before Cajon pass called Cleghorn that has some decent trails. My uncle has an Avocado farm up in Carpenteria that has some fat trails too! Check out Hungry Valley and take some pics!

Ocatillo Wells and Glamis aren't too far off from San Diego. Check it out on a map! Big Bear has awesome trails everywhere! You might have to drive a couple of hours, but there is definately some good stuff in Cali!

What about "Pismo beach"? There's a Hummer event (NCHG & SoCal) in June.

The event is at Pismo - Oceano Dunes? Im down for that. Its one of my favorite spots. I always was intrigued by the idea of driving on the sand next to the ocean. I know GotSand is not too far off and will cruise it. Im down. It would be nice to get together with all the Cali kids that couldn't it to Moab. Got an info link TGL?

Awesome! I will put it on the calendar. You going TGL? We should post something up closer to the time of the event. 6-23 - 6-24 for those who care, lets go to Pismo all!!

Yes, I will be there. The "Death Valley" event is this month. But, I'm not going, it's long drive for me.

Just doesn't sound like the most appealing place to go to, eh? Its not too far off fore me, about 3 hours max but I'll be skipping that one. Probably got to be getting hot out there already too. I dont like hot, especially when the 3 is black with black leather.

If you are near Orange County/North San Diego County you can go to Cleveland National Forest. There are a couple of spots around Ortega Hwy. I have done N Main Divide Rd several times (not yet on the H3). It is an easy trail, but it is a nice ride. You come out around the 241 if you start at Ortega, you can do it from either direction. Check with Forest Serevice for closures. You get views to the ocean and Lake Elsinore... Tops out at the Microwave antenna towers with views toward Irvine and Catalina in good days.

I posted the link a bit up, but here it is again. Cleveland is sick. There was a big fire up there last July, so the OHV park was partially closed, so check on those too. I think the majority if not all should be open by now. We should plan something, but Im not much for planning.
