I use Mothers also. Its really good for my Wrangler fenders which turn grey if exposed to a 15 watt bulb for 47 seconds.

I use the Mothers Back-to-Black on all the black metal surfaces (bumpers, wiper arms, etc.), and I use Griot's Garage's Non-Silicone Based Vinyl & Rubber Dressing on all other black plastic / vinyl / rubber surfaces of the vehicle -- including tires.

Here's a link:

Its me Pledge dude. Yes, let me tell u, no lie. I don't have mud flaps , ok, so ran through some wet tar, man that splattered all over the door front and rear, and the rear wheel cover. Went to the car wash to blast hose it off, no luck!!! frustrated !!! had the Pledge in the Back cargo area.
Yes, I pledged with it, ohh yea, tar and grease buffed away.
sparkle clean, lemon fresh, and no streaks!!!
I keep you all up dated, If the paint starts falling off in a couple weeks, I let you know that.
Also, Don't forget the Pledge for the chrome finishes. Wooh!
