Default Tranny Fluid Color in 08' H2?

I have an odd question, but I noticed when checking my tranny fluid, that it is not dark red anymore in my new 08' H2, like it was in my 05'. Seems to be a very light pink color....It's very hard to read on the dipstick, and you really have to stare at it to see where the level is.
Did they change the color of the tranny fluid for the Dexron VI fluid??

Also I noticed that my fluid is down just a tad (about an 1/8") from the crosshatch area when running at about 178 degrees.....is this ok, or should I run out and get some to add in?
Any 08' owners out there.....please check your fluid.....and let me know!

They didnt change the color. It's just the difference between new fluid and used. i just had my 05's fluid flushed and replaced with VI.
