... and you won't see it until the 2007's are released at this rate.
Between what my dealer has told me and some others from the board, the NAV's are on constraint due to a 20% failure rate at the factory: they are burning up. I had the dealer take the NAV option off of mine and I will go aftermarket or put the H2 NAV in if it is possible.

Do not know when it will be solved but i have heard it was a supplier quality problem with the fit and finish.

Guess I should do some calling around tomorrow to find out the real reason. From what I have seen with release of these items, it is primarily fit/finish, or the supplier just cannot deliver the quantity of units everyone wants.

I had planned on getting the NAV but even if they were shipping now, I think I will got with Blown Z06's carputer instead. You get the NAV and everything else along with a full blown PC for the same or less money.

Just heard from Hummer customer service. The NAV is on constaint due to supplier problem. It will be 4-6 weeks before a NAV equipped H3 can be ordered. I'm getting worried because my GMID certificate might expire before I can get an order in. My dealer said that if it is ordered before January then my GMID certicate will still be good. What happens if the certificate expires? Can I get a replacement?

You can get a new one from the person who gave you the original one... if they have not given them to someone else by then.

Second only to roof marker lamps, NAV systems are a real thorn in my side.

All I can say is that 'supply and demand' are NOT the only reason that there aren't many available.
