Power ANY DIESEL ENGINE and the cost to you is only 46? per gallon??
Anyone know what the hell this stuff is?
From their website:
__________________________________________________ _____________
DSE has developed a revolutionary method for producing an inexpensive, high performance fuel that can power ANY DIESEL ENGINE and the cost to you is only 46? per gallon!
You have NOT heard of this before. This is an entirely new way in America to make your own fuel from vegetable oil that takes only minutes.

I've heard of some guys using USED atf (filtered of course). A diesel will run on almost anything...the prototype back in 1892 ran on soybean oil (might have been peanut oil?).

ATF is not a good alternative as it has detergents added which will introduce abrasives to the fuel system. The DSE additive and process is as Phil has said, a mixture of vegetable, unleaded gasoline, and their 'additive'. IMO, snake oil.
It is FAR better to convert the triglycerides to a methyl ester, as the viscosity is better and you are not introducing octane and gasoline additives to your diesel.

You guys ever watch that show "Myth Busters"? I watched them take some used cooking oil from a restaurant, filter it with a coffee filter and run a mercedes sedan on it. Nothing added, nothing modified.
I don't know about long term wear, but it was interesting atleast.

I wasn't suggesting that atf was a good idea, merely that diesels (with minimum to no mods) will run on almost anything. Ok, maybe "almost anything" is a bit of an overstatement, but there are a bunch of options.
Thank god our trucks don't require lattes to run, that would send us all to the poor house.
