Default Tire size w/ 2" body lift

I am currently installing a RubberDuck 2" body lift on my 2003 H1. I also have 40" Pro Comp X Terrains ordered for it but I am concerned that the 2" body lift will not be sufficient to fit the 40's. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

The 40's will clear but it will be a bit tight. Make sure you grind down or reverse the bolts that hold the rocker pannel protection on the front of your truck, you'll see the bolts sticking out in the wheel well.

38" are the largest tire you can go on stock H1 Height. Unless you do a BODY lift that does not change. The clearance will be the same. Once again thats GM/Hummer talking. IF it was me I would go with the 40" IROKS :-) on KMC Rockstar wheels

I have a friend who put a set 39.5 Irocks on a stock 99 before he had a chance to install the lift and he did not have any problems. We actually went off road and through various terrains without any rubbing issues. It might not be the best thing to do, but it did work, and if you install a 2? lift I am sure that there would be no trouble with 40? tires.
