First time Hummer purchaser, did it right though.....
I love this thing!!! I was swaying either way between this or the escalade ext, but as I looked at the outer appearances the escalade ext looked too much like an older gentlemans car........ So I said H2 SUT it is!!! I am eager to find out just how high my monthly gas bill will be... and see how high the hater meter gets with this thing!

Congratulations on your new ride. You shouldnt see much difference in gas..her 2007 Escalade ESV gets 13mpg and my 2007 H2 is getting 11.2mpg you can always get a programmer and tune it for better performance to get better gas mileage.

Welcome, just don't bling it to death! Gas expenses will not be as bad as you might think, remember it's all relative to size & weight.
Cheers and welcome to the best Hummer forum group on the net!!

Best decision you ever made. The time you and your partner spend in it is "quality" time. My life resolves around the Hummer. My retirement in Wyoming came to being by getting my Hummer and fishing. Congratulations. Look around on ebay for things that will help your mileage.

Nice Truck! It seems like only yesterday that I bought my first HUMMER. It was $25 behind a Wal*mart!

You might be surprised. The vast majority will look and envy. You may get the rare 'You're number one' finger from a Subaru driver, but just remember: He's driving a Subaru.
