Default No-One wants to buy Hummer...

Interesting all the announced speculation over the past few weeks/months, that in the end everyone is denying being interested...will Hummer remain in GM's portfolio???

I'm drolling for some '09 pictures/details...

Nobody is willing to pay GM what they want for HUMMER, that's why it's such a stupid move in the first place. With the money being thrown at Citigroup to "review" the brand and time spent, they could have been working on the production version of the HX.

Gas prices are dropping again now, and winter is coming up, 4x4 sales will boost again. GM might keep HUMMER under a restructured dealer network agreement.

... or they can sell it at a fraction of the asking price like complete idiots and watch as GM crumbles beneath all their other problems. GM might be putting all their eggs in the Volt basket.

I'm a GM fan and Love the Hummer brand, but all this is making me mad as hell. They are trying to regroup and make themselves profitable again but are wasteing much more time and money insead of being productive. Why cant the HX be the new light in the Hummer portfolio? They were talking about it getting in 20's for MPG!! Maybe loose the H2 for a while untill the H2X hybrid can be born. There are ways to make Hummer profitable. I'm no big business guru or anything but its like watching the government make money. Its simply insane, I slowly looseing ineterest in GM and if Hummer goes away I wont be a fan any more for sure. I agree also that all the eggs are in the volt basket. They have a loyal fan base like corvette, expand upon that and be unique and exclusive to a 4x4 market that will always be needed!
