2002 Diesel Beetle. The H3's acceleration is great I do miss the 43MPG. And the flower vase But I don't drag in my driveway anymore.

I have been looking for at least a year for something to replace my 95 Landcruiser. I drove everything....I mean everything.

I saw the H3 on the web in May. Compared it to my 95. All the way down to the specs. It was almost identical in size and power.

Waited a month for them to arrive here in nor cal, drove all of the dealers in the area crazy. Sorted thru a huge stacks of orders and found her....HummBeBe.
I test drove a couple and wrote a check.

A month later she arrived. I am totally in love with this truck. I was just as happy with my cruiser. 10 years and 170K miles later. I'm looking forward to having my H3 as long!

Will be trading in my Mountaineer and can't wait until that day comes. The Mountaineer has been a very good vehicle but they are a dime a dozen and the H3 will be like nothing else.

I wonder how many Rubicon owners will switch.

As soon as a Find a Dealer who accepts a GMID in my area I'll be switching from my Wrangler.

I still love the Jeep but as i get older the lack of space becomes just too impractical.

2000 Chevrolet Silverado Extended Cab Z71 was sold and the profits were put towards our new H3. So far, very few regrets.

I really like the Rubicon, but for the price the H3 is a far better deal and will rock crawl right with them as well, so why woulden't someone want an H3? I see in 2 years these will be all over the place.

Speaking of German, I am replacing an Audi A4 with my H3...when it gets here, that is!

what did you not like about the benz? </div></BLOCKQUOTE>Well, I do actually live in Germany and pretty much every second SUV here is either a Mercedes ML, a BMW X5, a Range Rover or VW Touareg. I seriously wanted an SUV not many other people have over here... and I simply fell in love with the rough HUMMER styling as opposed to the soft and streamlined "modern euro SUV styling".

However, living in a city with many narrow roads, an H2 (not to speak of an H1) never was an option. But the moment I first heard about the H3 (which was in late 04), I knew I had to have one as soon as it's out.

Actually the ML had a better on-road feeling to it, but the H3 is better in pretty much every other discipline. Plus, it get's the looks... Especially over here in Germany.

I'll be replacing my 1993 twn door Tahoe with an H3. I have held onto this truck for years, because I have been really happy with it. Finally, I have found a vehicle nice enough to even consider getting rid of my old faithful.

My husband has been telling me to get rid of the Tahoe forever. Now I just have to get the H3, sooner or later. I just hope it will be as solid and reliable as this Tahoe. I have put over 225000 miles on it, and never had a single problem.

I totally agree.

The only thing that will make the Wrangler’s more popular in the end is price.

80% of your average Jeeps are DD's. You can still pick up a nicely equipped Wrangler for under 25k OTD. That and the convertible factor.

I will say that you really need to love a wrangler since they are so user-unfriendly to own.

Loud
Slow
Bumpy
No storage space
No legroom
Security by Saran Wrap (with the soft top on)
Poor gas mileage
Quarter mile timed using a calendar not a stopwatch

The H3 (to me) is more of the thinking man’s wrangler. Its still fit’s the bill for the rugged utilitarian look but its not so spartan in its amenities.

Regardless it’s gone
