The washer has a soap dispensor. I bought a wax additive (Turtlewax) that says to add an ounce to a gallon of cold water. I plan to put this in the soap dispensor!
Any thoughts or comments about this plan? If it works, I will be able to wash and wax my H2 (orange) on a regular basis.
It's basically just a hose that used the water pressure to siphon the soap in. I use a big soft scrubber on an extension pole and a 5 gallon bucket of car soap and water to wash. Pressure washer before to get rid of dust and after to get rid of soap.
Spray applied wax will do nothing. It may look shiny when you're done but it's not going to last.
I do it all by hand, like Lojac said, but without a pressure washer (only because I don't have one).
But dust? It will come off when you drive, or it if rains, or with a hose. It's not like it's tar, bugs, thick mud, or anything worth using a pressure washer for.

I need a pressure spray to clean the roof too. I can't get up there.
I still plan to use the wax additive. I hope it does not goof up the pressure sprayer.
The wax additive shouldn't do anything to the washer. As for getting up to the roof, throw a GOBI rack and ladder on that bad boy!
The pressure washer did not succeed in taking off the dust, even at 1800 psi! I had to hand wash it. But the wax worked very well-my orange hummer is beautiful!
