Hummer Gremlin Help (Starting & Passcode??)

Ok so I put the new Alt in (got a Duralast Delphi Reman with a lifetime warranty) and then put the once completely drained battery on the charger for about 2-3 days.....
I go out and start it up and bingo.... starts. So we are good there.

Here is the problems:
It just seemed like when starting my rig it pulled a bit harder then before to start the car. Battery? I dont know since it seems to not have any issues starting after sitting for a few minutes with the stereo blasting and the light on... just pulls hard then before. Before I could twist the key and it started immediately, now it seems I twist the key and it pulls a little a little harder and maybe a little longer.... Any ideas?

Ok the other issue is that my Passcode light is on. Not fully. just very dim. Then it will go out and come back out. It is spontaneous on when it goes out or comes on, but again it never goes fully lit, just dim. If I turn the rig off it stays dimly lit. I have tried checking for codes with my ELM 327 but none show. It didnt have this issue prior to the death of the Alt, and if i remember correctly it didnt even have it when I put in a brand new borrowed battery to get me home with the alt died.

Any help would be great.
