I currently have 18" billet MC2 wheels and nitto tires on my H2 and was thinking of upgrading to 24" wheels. I know the wheel guys say that the bigger the wheel, the smaller the tire to keep the overall diameter the same. I have a few questions regarding this. If I first install a 4" lift, how big of a tire can I put on the 24" wheels and not have a problem with rubbing, etc. When you install a 4" lift kit, what else has to be done to the vehicle? Next, regarding low profile tires, do they really compromise the ride. A lot, somewhat or a little.. I won't be doing any offroading, but still like the current ride and wouldn't want to sacrifice any of it, not even for the look..Your invaluable help is always appreciated..Thanks

I think all you are going to fit are 37's, maybe 38's with some cutting. The ride will be worse since there will be less meat on the rims and you will have a harder time braking than before. A 37 inch tire on a 24 inch rim will be like a rubberband wrapped around it.

Yea i would say 22" wheels with like a 38" tire overall shouldnt be that bad in terms of ride quality and looks. But you'' probably need a slight lift and you'll

ABSOLUTELY

need to upgrade your brakes. Factor a new system into your budget or things could get ugly one day in an emergency braking situation.

How much did you have to lift it and what else did you have to do?

Full side view of those 37x13.50R24 MTs on 24" rims.

The gallery on superbuytires.com has some more ideas.
